Sylvester Stallone, de luto por la muerte de su madre Jackie

Jackie Stallone, como le conocen cariñosamente sus seguidores, tuvo una larga e intensa vida. Aunque se percibió como una madre poco convencional, sus hijos lloran su muerte.

El actor estadounidense Sylvester Stallone está sufriendo la pérdida de su madre, Jacqueline Stallone, quien ha fallecido a la edad de 98 años por causas naturales.

La triste noticia se ha dado a conocer este martes, a través de un comunicado del hermano del actor, Frank, el cual sostuvo que murió mientras dormía, tal como ella quiso en vida.

“Su mente estuvo lúcida hasta el día en que murió…Tenía siete nietos y tres bisnietos. Mi hermano Sylvester la cuidó como una reina durante toda su vida…Te extrañaré siempre mami”, expresó Frank en el mensaje que ha citado la revista Hola.

Jackie Stallone fue reconocida no solo por ser la madre de uno de los actores más prestigiosos de Hollywood, sino que se desarrolló como astróloga, bailarina y promotora de la lucha femenina, a tal punto que fue una de las creadoras y entrenadoras de G.L.O.W. (The Gorgeous Girls of Wrestling), el famoso programa que promocionaba la lucha libre entre mujeres, el cual fue emitido desde Las Vegas durante 1986 y 1992.

Netflix se apropió de la temática del show para llevarlo a una serie dramática de 10 capítulos que fueron estrenados en el año 2017, y que entre 2018 y 2019 fue renovada hasta una cuarta y última temporada.

Consagrada al ejercicio físico, Jackie pudo aparecer en otros espacios televisivos dedicados al fisiculturismo, y su devoción por esta especialidad le hizo hasta fundar su propio gimnasio: el Barbella´s, exclusivo para mujeres.

This morning my brothers and I lost our mother Jackie Stallone . She was the mother to four children, Tommy, Sylvester, Frankie and my late sister Toni Ann. She was a remarkable woman working out everyday full of spunk and fearless . She died in her sleep as she had wished. It was hard not to like her, she was very eccentric and flamboyant person. She was born on November 29 th 1921 in Washington DC ,she lived through prohibition , the depression and World War II . I would talk to her for hours about the 20’s 30’s and 40’s. It was a history lesson. Her mind was as sharp as a razor till the day she died. She never wore a mask a true revolutionary gal . I guess I’m drowning my emotions in tears and to much vino. But when you’ve known someone for 70 yrs it tough and sad. She had seven grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren . My brother Sylvester took care of her like a Queen for all of her life. I will never be able to call my mom again or have her yell at me why I never got married . But we all loved her and her sprit to survive and prevail . I’ll miss you always mommy. @officialslystallone

El mensaje de Frank también destacó las duras etapas que vivió Jacqueline Stallone a lo largo de su vida: “Nació el 29 de noviembre de 1921 en Washington DC, vivió la Ley Seca, la depresión y la Segunda Guerra Mundial. Hablaba con ella durante horas sobre los años 20, 30 y 40. Fue una lección de historia”, dijo el hermano del actor a sus seguidores en Instagram.

En su historia se cuentan tres matrimonios y cuatro hijos, también se conoció por no ser una madre convencional, tal como ella misma se autodefinió en una entrevista para People que ha citado Hola:

“Estoy segura de que mis hijos se avergüenzan de mí. Creen que debería estar en casa ocupándome de mis asuntos. Pero si me hubiese quedado en casa ellos también estarían ahora en sus casas, y Sylvester no estaría haciendo esas películas que hace. Estaría viendo la televisión”, expresó.
