Un extenso reportaje de Mart\u00ed Noticias ya hab\u00eda expuesto el caso, incluyendo <strong>testimonios directos<\/strong> y <strong>documentaci\u00f3n<\/strong> que lo vincula con graves violaciones de derechos humanos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El congresista <strong>cubanoamericano Carlos Gim\u00e9nez<\/strong> ya hab\u00eda pedido que <strong>Jorge Luis Vega Garc\u00eda<\/strong> fuera deportado a Cuba. Lo hizo a trav\u00e9s de una carta dirigida a la <strong>secretaria de Seguridad Nacional, Kristi Noem<\/strong>, en la que incluy\u00f3 <strong>pruebas documentales<\/strong> que vinculan al exoficial directamente con el <strong>aparato represivo del r\u00e9gimen cubano<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Por otra parte, <strong>Lainersy \u00c1vila Castro<\/strong>, exfuncionaria del sistema penitenciario en la isla, asegur\u00f3 que Vega no solo se mantuvo activo dentro del <strong>MININT<\/strong> durante a\u00f1os, sino que incluso fue <strong>promovido de rango antes de retirarse<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El medio mencionado logr\u00f3 verificar la identidad del exteniente coronel tras comparar <strong>firmas y documentos oficiales <\/strong>tanto de Cuba como de Estados Unidos. Hasta hace poco, <strong>Vega resid\u00eda en suelo estadounidense sin restricciones conocidas<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Aunque <strong>las autoridades de EE.UU. a\u00fan no han detallado p\u00fablicamente las causas formales de su arresto<\/strong>, desde el <strong>exilio cubano<\/strong> ya se exige que se realice <strong>una investigaci\u00f3n a fondo<\/strong> y se le juzgue por los <strong>cr\u00edmenes de lesa humanidad<\/strong>que se le imputan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Este caso se suma a <strong>otras denuncias similares<\/strong>, en las que <strong>exfuncionarios del r\u00e9gimen cubano<\/strong> han logrado establecerse en Estados Unidos, aprovechando <strong>programas migratorios<\/strong> y <strong>fallos en los mecanismos de verificaci\u00f3n<\/strong> del
