En abril del 2000, Janet Acosta se encontraba dentro de su furgoneta estacionada cuando Tanzi la atac\u00f3 y la amenaz\u00f3 con una cuchilla. En febrero, James Dennis Ford fue ejecutado por el asesinato de una pareja en el condado de Charlotte en 1997.
