Cubano arrestado tras agredir a polic\u00eda en Rep\u00fablica Dominicana es hospitalizado<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\nLa liberaci\u00f3n del cubano ha sido confirmada por m\u00faltiples fuentes. Y las razones de su liberaci\u00f3n o las condiciones bajo las cuales fue liberado parecen estar en consonancia con el hecho de que su arresto hab\u00eda sido ilegal porque no se hab\u00eda producido en flagrancia, seg\u00fan lo alegado por la defensa del agente de tr\u00e1nsito agredido.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
El cubano hab\u00eda sido enviado a prisi\u00f3n por tres meses, pero la Segunda Sala de la C\u00e1mara Penal de la Corte de Apelaci\u00f3n, presidida por la jueza Isis Mu\u00f1iz, orden\u00f3 la liberaci\u00f3n de Llorente L\u00f3pez el jueves pasado.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Sin embargo, la magistrada advirti\u00f3 al acusado que el proceso en su contra continuar\u00e1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Llorente L\u00f3pez, natural de la provincia de Cienfuegos, en la barriada de Hermanas Giralt, en Cuba, fue detenido inicialmente tras un incidente en el que agredi\u00f3 al agente Jos\u00e9 Anthony Alc\u00e1ntara Rojas de la Direcci\u00f3n General de Seguridad de Tr\u00e1nsito y Transporte Terrestre (Digesett) en Santo Domingo. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
La agresi\u00f3n ocurri\u00f3 despu\u00e9s de que el agente lo detuviera para imponerle una multa por presuntamente hablar por tel\u00e9fono mientras conduc\u00eda. Sin embargo, cuando el agente comenz\u00f3 a fotografiar con su celular la identificaci\u00f3n de Ll\u00f3rente L\u00f3pez, estall\u00f3 el incidente, que culmin\u00f3 solo cuando el cubano termin\u00f3 arrestado, y luego de que abofeteara al agente en cuesti\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Llorente L\u00f3pez expres\u00f3 su arrepentimiento ante la justicia e incluso admiti\u00f3 su reacci\u00f3n desproporcionada y dijo no repeter\u00eda comportamiento semejante en el futuro.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Su caso fue bastante controversial, porque cuando el cubano compareci\u00f3 ante el juez, luc\u00eda fuertemente golpeado en su rostro, lo que gener\u00f3 controversia sobre las condiciones de su detenci\u00f3n. A pesar de eso, en ese momento, ni \u00e9l ni su abogado dijeron una palabra a los medios sobre una presunta golpiza recibida. Si fue por los agentes que lo detuvieron o si fue ya en la c\u00e1rcel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
La noticia, gener\u00f3 diversas reacciones en la comunidad por el modo en que hab\u00eda sido tratado el detenido, que hasta el momento no ha sido aclarado, pues tampoco las autoridades hab\u00eda emitido un comunicado oficial sobre el caso.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Para a\u00f1adirle m\u00e1s le\u00f1a al fuego, su familia denunci\u00f3 que estaba en celda de aislamiento, y que ni siquiera ellos pod\u00edan verle, un castigo demasiado excesivo para un hombre que no representaba un peligro real a la comunidad. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
