Seg\u00fan expres\u00f3 la Empresa de Proyectos de Arquitectura e Ingenier\u00eda de Matanzas (EMPAI) en su p\u00e1gina de Facebook, esta iniciativa busca exaltar el hero\u00edsmo y la unidad de la naci\u00f3n ante la tragedia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/plugins\/post.php?href=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2Fempai.matanzas.1977%2Fposts%2Fpfbid02jS8tMPR6rioW9585Mm1Tn1m6SBfuSEWV59QudpabadVoRYmjNyTjSDTcuYwjQULpl&amp;show_text=true&amp;width=500\" style=\"border:none;overflow:hidden\" scrolling=\"no\" allowfullscreen=\"true\" allow=\"autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; picture-in-picture; web-share\" width=\"500\" height=\"527\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe>\n\n\n\n<p>Los creadores han dise\u00f1ado un monumento que consistir\u00e1 en una escultura de un bombero, representada en un muro de acero. Desde este basamento, emerger\u00e1 la figura del bombero, elev\u00e1ndose \u00abal firmamento como signo de hero\u00edsmo\u00bb, explic\u00f3 con Yanelys Mijenes Perdomo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Adem\u00e1s, el memorial contar\u00e1 con 17 palmas reales, cada una simbolizando a una de las v\u00edctimas, y en el muro construido de hormig\u00f3n, se ubicar\u00e1n los restos de los bomberos, acompa\u00f1ados de sus nombres, brindando un espacio respetuoso para que el pueblo pueda rendir homenaje de manera sobria y conmovedora.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El lugar elegido para este homenaje se encuentra cerca de la plaza fundacional de Matanzas, lo que le permitir\u00e1 estar acompa\u00f1ado de otros sitios emblem\u00e1ticos de la ciudad, como el Museo de Bomberos, el Teatro Sauto y la Plaza Mi Bandera, creando un entorno de profundo significado hist\u00f3rico y cultural, en el contorno del r\u00edo San Juan y el Puente Giratorio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>No obstante, esto contrasta con las quejas y lamentos de familiares de los fallecidos. \u201cMi ni\u00f1o no es un m\u00e1rtir, es una v\u00edctima del Servicio Militar Obligatorio (\u2026) \u00c9l no ten\u00eda que estar all\u00ed\u201d, hab\u00eda afirmado en el momento del tr\u00e1gico suceso con tristeza la abuela de Leo Alejandro Duval, una de las v\u00edctimas del siniestro, que en ese momento ten\u00eda la edad de 19 a\u00f1os y cumpl\u00eda su Servicio Militar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Por otro lado, el gobierno cubano ha mantenido su posici\u00f3n de rendir homenaje y llamar \u00abh\u00e9roes\u00bb a los bomberos ca\u00eddos.
