{"id":131854,"date":"2023-08-03T08:10:25","date_gmt":"2023-08-03T12:10:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.cuballama.com\/noticias\/?p=131854"},"modified":"2023-08-03T08:10:28","modified_gmt":"2023-08-03T12:10:28","slug":"mueren-ahogadas-dos-adolescentes-en-santiago-de-cuba","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.cuballama.com\/noticias\/mueren-ahogadas-dos-adolescentes-en-santiago-de-cuba\/","title":{"rendered":"Mueren ahogadas dos adolescentes en Santiago de Cuba"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Dos adolescentes aparecieron ahogadas en un r\u00edo del municipio de Palma Soriano, en Santiago de Cuba, lo que ha provocado una profunda conmoci\u00f3n entre los habitantes de la localidad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Las j\u00f3venes, quienes eran parte de una misma familia, fueron identificadas como Yuleidis S\u00e1nchez Escalante, de 13 a\u00f1os, y\u00a0Claudia Escalante Carmenate, de 16. Ambas resid\u00edan en la regi\u00f3n de San Francisco, de Palma Soriano.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Aris Arias Batalla, responsable provincial de Operaciones y Socorro\/Seguridad Acu\u00e1tica de Santiago de Cuba, indic\u00f3 que la causa del fallecimiento se debi\u00f3 a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cuballama.com\/noticias\/murio-ahogado-un-nino-de-siete-anos-en-villa-clara\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ahogamiento <\/a>por sumersi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Arias Batalla a\u00f1adi\u00f3 que el sitio donde se ahogaron las adolescentes no es \u00e1rea de ba\u00f1o ni tiene salvavidas. \u201cEs imposible asegurar el cauce y recorrido de alg\u00fan r\u00edo, litoral y playas no certificadas\u201d, apunt\u00f3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El socorrista se\u00f1al\u00f3 que existe falta de percepci\u00f3n sobre los riesgos que implican no respetar las prohibiciones as\u00ed como las negligencias de familias o personas que llevan a la muerte o provocan accidentes que pueden evitarse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cEn julio hubo que lamentar p\u00e9rdidas de vidas humanas, principalmente en edades de ni\u00f1os y adolescentes. Estos accidentes (ahogamientos por sumersi\u00f3n) han sido por falta de percepci\u00f3n de riesgos, descuidos y negligencia de familiares o acompa\u00f1antes. La mayor incidencia de estos fallecidos a los que me refiero han sucedido en localidades rurales\u201d, dijo en una publicaci\u00f3n anterior al suceso.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En provincias del oriente cubano se han repetido este tipo de hechos en los \u00faltimos meses. El pasado mes de julio, en la misma ciudad, Palma Soriano, muri\u00f3 el adolescente, Arley Ernesto Porama Pastrana, de 12 a\u00f1os, por ahogamiento en el \u00a0r\u00edo Cauto.
